The WHERE

Ancient land

Zillions of tons of fishbones laid down the free draining chalk to be carved into gentle slopes by glaciers and now clothed in herb rich grassland.

Man and horse have lived and worked together here since before Stonehenge was built. The Romans rode through here. Siegfried Sassoon wrote his "Memoirs of a Foxhunting Man" here.

Year round excercise

Long gallops and leafy lanes provide a comprehensive range of terrains to excercise and train.

The odd explosion and low flying helicopter courtesy of the Army provide early audio visual management ahead of the firsty outing to the racecourse.
